Some friends & I went to see "Pro" last night at the Flatirons Theater in Boulder.
Dave Towle as his usual self did a fantastic job MC'ing the whole night. There were some big names in the crowd (Andy Hampsten, Nelson Vails, Anne Trombley, Tim Duggan, Travis Brown, Chris Wherry) and each went up on stage and helped with giving away door prizes. The director, Jamie Paolinetti, was also there and extremely shy. He does not come across as a good public speaker.
I have a copy of "The Hard Road" and have watched it a couple of times. It is a behind the scenes view of the first & last year of the NetZero professional cycling team. In comparing the 2 documentaries, I think Jamie did a better job with "The Hard Road". "Pro", is an exciting documentary, however some the the camera angles were not that great and the interviews with the riders could have been done better.
My rating is 3 of 5 cogs.
